In our longstanding efforts to document our journey to change the current pathway that great ideas are brought to market, I thought it would be good to share some fantastic news that came from our local Director of St. Lucie County 4-H, John Ferguson. For those fairly new to our program, Mr. Ferguson has been a huge supporter of our work and has been instrumental in our application process to become a Chartered 4-H Club within his jurisdiction and larger plans for our non-profit and startup business to become a trusted Corporate Partner within National 4-H.

Before leaving on a well deserved vacation to Jamaica, Mr. Ferguson called to update myself and Brian on where things currently stand regarding the first of those two open applications. The great news is that we've already been approved by John to create our very own Chartered 4-H SPIN (SPecial INterest) Club for Young Inventors and Entrepreneurs and that there are numerous top level executives at the State 4-H level who are doing their due diligence to see if there are any conflicts of interest that could arise from our Club working on and selling any number of my personal inventions or future coffee sales that myself and champion teacher/business partner, Brian Tygesson, are Branding through The American Dream Cafe. https://www.theamericandreamcafe.com/

The even better news is that one of the two amazing opportunities seem to be a given even if conflicts of interest become an unsolvable issue for a Chartered Club Sponsor like us, as becoming a Corporate Partner seen in the link here (https://4-h.org/support/corporate-foundation-support/) gives us all of the support and flexibility we need to continue our current efforts to expand economic and workforce readiness as well as increase our Brand awareness, support communities, and empower kids with the skills they'll soon need to thrive in life and their careers!!!

All of these opportunities that Mr. Ferguson is putting us in a position to deliver to 4-H students across our Local, State, and International 4-H reach fall under the much larger workforce readiness campaign that National 4-H has launched through their Beyond Ready initiative (https://4-h.org/beyond-ready/)

I'll close out the update by attaching a very cool curriculum that Mr. Ferguson recommended we use as a guideline for should our Chartered SPIN Club be finalized at the State level for approval. As you can see from the summary shared to "Be the "E" Entrepreneurship Activity Guide", there seems to be a ton of interesting material that breaks down what it actually means (and takes) to become a successful entrepreneur as well as certain traits that most entrepreneurs have when it comes to seeing problems as opportunities to capitalize on by solving.

It even gives credit to my favorite part of all about being an inventor and self-described social entrepreneur which mentions the inherent ability to "DREAM" up things that people don't know they need or want yet, create JOBS through those unseen yet solutions, and turn those ideas into profitable businesses and products!

As always there far more to share regarding this truly amazing opportunity to collaborate with 4-H on one level or another and other opportunities that are coming our way from local organizations that want to partner with us and others as far away as Mexico and Cameroon Africa where ongoing talks are taking place with members of award winning global organizations interested in collaborating between our synergistic vision, values, and community-based causes. But I'll leave it here for now and hope that you can see that there's a different level of universal attraction and traction taking place that is about to blow the lid off of this very long journey of ours in a spectacular fashion:) J

Talk isn't always cheap: Well, well, well, look who we landed as not only a guest speaker who is on fire for Career & Technical Education (CTE) and the field of welding, but is now a full-fledged evangelist who just volunteered his expert services to help bring our Dream to produce and place our very own Brand of Marine "Safety Stations" across docks of every marina in the world!

As you can see from the first few pics below, or from our recent posts showing our time spent networking at the Treasure Coast Manufacturers Showcase and BBQ, what started as simple introductions and conversations With Mr. Kevin Holzapfel about our concept to teach through our own pipeline of inventions, turned into a quick invitation and visit to our after-school program and see what we've been talking about for years regarding our Safe and Green Marina Initiative.

Once Mr. Holzapfel (Mr. H as he prefers) got through his own introduction and very interactive Q&A session with students regarding the wild ride and career that he's had as a welder and now instructor in the much needed (and high paying) field, we got to go through our own presentation to make the same case to Mr. H as we've been making to others for years that the current level of safety and environmental standards for marina's (or "what is" as I prefer to call it) sucks!

And after a few side by side comparisons between "what is" and "what could be" it was as if we turned on the booster rockets for Mr. H as he went on to to literally say that this could be the most important project he's ever seen and that he is all-in on helping us bring this Dream to full-blown life and reality for the entire world to see!!!

As Mr. Tygesson and myself continue to tell our students, we are down to M&M's (money and mentors) as the only two needs we have that are keeping our entire pipeline of truly great and validated ideas from not just being seen and used around the world as each great idea deserves to be seen, but as an educational template that different kids from schools and youth-led organizations around the planet can customize and develop as part of our planned global network and 21st Century workforce readiness initiative.

And if you don't think there's some fate going on in the universe, how about the fact that Mr. H is the welding instructor at the Performance Based Preparatory Academy (https://schools.stlucie.k12.fl.us/pbpa/) where it just so happens that Dr. Arthur Jamison is the Principal at. That seems like more than a coincidence to me personally as Dr. Jamison was the very first of three awesome principals that I've been blessed to work with at Forest Grove Middle School and was personally responsible for giving our pilot after-school program a shot to introduce the inherent values of teaching through inventions and the wild world of entrepreneurship.

Of course there's plenty of work left to be done which Mr. H clearly described as being hard, BUT there is no doubt left that this particular idea's time has come to be worked on and used as a prime example for the type of Project Based Learning and 21st Century workforce readiness experience that we want every idea in our very own Dream Factory's pipeline to be used as and processed through in the youth-led and community-based fashion that we prefer:) J EntrepreneursEverywhere

Be the Spark: I couldn't think of a better chapter title for the book that will someday tell the story of what it's been like behind the scenes to not just bring an idea to life in our own backyard, but to do so in a way that's designed to bring as many ideas to life as feasibly possible at once, including the process by which they are brought to life in the first place! Trust me when I say that none of that is possible without tapping into an ecosphere of like-minded individuals, organizations, AND manufacturers who at the end of the day and/or process are the ones who truly do bring such ideas to life.

Needless to say, that ecosphere was on full display at this week's Manufacturing Showcase and BBQ that was put on by the Treasure Coast Manufacturers Association where a number of students, parents, and clients of our own pilot program for Young Inventors and Entrepreneurs joined us for a great night of networking and good food.

The build up for the night was preceded by a personal meeting I had earlier in the previous week with the President and V.P. of the Association, which just happen to be the owners of Phoenix Metal Products (https://phoenixgse.com/) here in Fort Pierce where we picked up on conversations that started years ago regarding our interests in processing inventions within our pipeline in our own backyard that were done so in a fashion that got local students involved in all of the creative and educational aspects of each product's development.

Of course, we were preaching to the choir as a large portion of our conversation was spent talking about a major crisis going on in all of the trades and manufacturing sectors as many students are coming out of school with a real lack of workforce training (and people skills) that are required for employers like them to give a job to. As sad as that is to admit, it's the first step in recovery to admit there's a problem and then address the issues head-on which is exactly what so many great companies and organizations on hand for the night are desperately trying to solve what seems to be a national and global problem/crisis!

Plenty more to share on the night which I'll try to add some additional context for next to some of the pictures shared that will not only connect a few dots between the manufacturing of a few great ideas we're working on and actual product placement, as well as the much larger picture behind our own customized process of "bridging education, workforce, and community together" which is exactly what the stated goals are shown and posted on banners for the Treasure Coast Center for Economic and Educational Development which just so happens to collaborate with schools, non-profits, and community leaders like us!

Add that to a number of other fantastic connections made on the night that are already in-motion and on pace to show up in the very near future as entirely new levels of support, mentorship, AND expansion that only proves that we are in the right place, right time, and right ecosphere to truly make our pipeline of Dreams a fully-blown and manufactured reality:) J

Finally getting a chance to post a few pics from last week's class that tries to explain the method behind our madness and why we believe there's a much better and far more efficient process to processing great ideas within our own backyard or any other backyard where such Dreams are born. As always, there are a lot of nuances and things that can't be seen from these pictures alone which is why we are super excited to see these same images and a few more that are missing come to life in a short video reel that our crack Photography Team will be putting together with the help of their incredible mentor, Brooke Peacock, of Peahen Photography! (https://peahenphotography.weebly.com/)

If nothing else, we hope that you can see what we see behind the curtains of America or any other capitalistic country on earth, which in our mind, runs like an engine with many different cogs, wheels, and belts that keep it turning at whatever rate of speed its current process produces. As a self-described social entrepreneur, I see that internal belt much like an infinity wheel which is nothing more than a full circle with a half twist that creates two very separate and distinct hemispheres between a community where most live and a business world where most work.

It should be fair to say that the vast majority of people with an idea would take that idea to be processed into a business world that has no idea if the community to which it ultimately hopes to sell to will like it or not. This unknown, inherently creates risk, higher rates of interest for money invested (if any at all is available), and a much slower and inefficient rate of processing for the few who can make it through the current gauntlet. Believing that there is far more good that can be squeezed from any idea provided (even those which will ultimately fail) that can be used to provide the types of hands-on education and workforce training (for any grade student) on the front-end of the idea-to-market life cycle that most communities, schools and youth-led organizations are asking for.

So, if we do nothing more than teach through the inventive process to the point where we have working prototypes that can be used to showcase at our own fashion show (JOB AID) where invitations are sent to targeted CEO's and purchasing managers of companies (large and small) that could see what any given communities own students, parents, teachers, mentors, and more have created (AND LIKE), it would create the potential for purchasing orders to be received in advance of full scale production. Needless to say, that would in-turn reduce many, if not all, risks associated with bringing such vetted products to life in the first place!

Plenty more that will come out in our video that will try to tie in our concepts for JOB AID and Ideas4Hope in a fashion that can be duplicated anywhere around the world, but we'll leave it here for now and hope that you can see a bit more of what we see as not only a better pathway to bring ideas to life for the sake of an inventor and a few others who might share in the ideas wealth if it sees the light of day. But for the sake of an entire community which gets the first crack at the benefits that are guaranteed to come from the educational and workforce development first, and through JOB creation, tax bases, philanthropy, and more which we hope to increase the odds of happening through our very own youth-led and community-based Dream Factory:) J =ECO

Making a mountain out of a molehill: As I looked through the pictures chosen to document this week's work, I couldn't help but to notice how much good was being done with such limited space, time, and current operational funds. Those thoughts led to the title I would choose to describe this stage and chapter in our journey which is an idiom that's usually used to describe something in a negative light about making too much out of a little situation. In our case, I would say that it could be used in the most positive way possible, as each phase of our pilot program for Young Inventors and Entrepreneurs are actually working towards a common goal and event.

And while our end-game goal is to have a solid pipeline of mentors and professionals in place where these same middle schoolers are learning from and working with high school students, college students, and experienced business professionals in a fashion that mentors and teaches 21st Century workforce skills that are inherent in each phase of the idea-to-market process, our current situation forces us to make the most of what we have until those other pieces of the puzzle are firmly in place.

In theory, we are still getting these genius-level and creative kids feet wet until the troops arrive by swapping out future work on our pipeline of inventions with short-term work on community events like we have coming up at Causeway Cove Marina for the 2026 Trunk Or Treat Festival and next month's Pick, Paddle, and Play event that we've been invited to take part in as well.

To make the case that such a swap doesn't minimize the early learning experience, I've put a few pics in order to show that our 3D Print Team still has to learn something from Fusion360 or from the process of downloading and 3D printing any one of the tens of thousands of files that our Champion Teacher, Brian Tygesson, has just purchased. And while you can't see them yet, there will soon be any number of articulating ghosts, goblins, dancing skeletons, pumpkins and more that will be custom made with glow in the dark filament that this crew have chosen to create (and sell) for the event seen on the flyer below.

Add that to custom bracelets that members of our Sales and Marketing Team chose to make as a means to help market and produce small sales for the event brings them into the spotlight which of course is being filmed for upcoming showcasing and video shorts by the awesome group heading our Photography Team who can be seen learning how to use another set of brand new cameras that Mr. Tygesson invested in this week!

Speaking of investments!!! How about the pics that show the order of our very first Coffee Cart that will soon be shipped with our very own American Dream Cafe logo in place!!! But wait there's more, as Brian went above and beyond once again by investing in our very first set of professional coffee and espresso machines along with a couple of dozen custom coffee cups and mugs that will all be set up for sale at our designated Trunk Or Treat space!!!

Needless to say, we look forward to the day when we are working on any number of real-world and life improving inventions we have to make and sell in a fashion that educates on the front-end of the business cycle with the ultimate hope of creating JOBS, taxes, philanthropy, opportunities, and more on the back-end of our custom designed community-based process. But for now, we will continue to make mountains out of what seem to look like molehills as we use this time to get our feet wet and sharpen our skills until the rest of the troops arrive:) J

No better message to describe much, if not all, that we've been doing over the last 17 1/2 years to smash as many ideas as possible into a collider with reality which has allowed us to beta test our results for the sake of validation and the type of market analysis that we've taken to the Nth degree. That mindset began with the very first batch of marine safety and eco-friendly products that were not only vetted by victims of boating accidents and environmental experts that our ideas passed with flying colors through, but to the owners of international product development and distribution companies who accepted our initial pipeline of ideas into their own fold to process and sell as well.

That intense level of testing and ultimate approval gave us all we needed to know about the intrinsic value our ideas were worth to others and allowed us to spit the hook on that incredible offer and opportunity to bring our ideas to life and market in a traditional fashion, and make a run at creating an entirely new pathway to bring these same ideas (and far more since) to life in the youth-led and community-based fashion that we believe beats the current process in more ways that most can imagine.

Think of it as Project Based Learning on steroids where STEM/STEAM-based activities that are inherent in each phase of product development are learned by students who take part in our still forming pilot program. Needless to say, a much needed byproduct of such concepts comes in the form of career and workforce readiness, which ultimately benefits the greater community at-large even more if such ideas are successfully sold in the marketplace through JOBS, taxes, philanthropy, and leveling the playing field of opportunity for those who have great ideas but not enough money or experience to play the game, to name a few...

Knowing that our pipeline of products are validated to the point where we have small batches of pre-orders and product placement in-hand, we are now in a position where our process has become the ultimate product of all and is getting the same type of extreme testing and vetting that we always want for by world-class experts in the field of business and education. Even better is the fact that those two fields combine to create the type of social entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial program that we believe can be implemented in any state or country on the planet with just a few minor changes to the colors of representation and language if necessary! Think International Dream Factory...

The remaining pictures attached are meant for many of our students and parents who are new to the program to see, as well as a number of people who represent other organizations who are also vetting our working concepts to see if they are a fit for future collaboration and partnerships that we are applying for such as 4-H. Knowing that it's not easy to compress 17 years' worth of time into a short space, we can only hope that a few pertinent pictures of our time spent testing our products and business model with any number of professors, community organizations, and business leaders will show that while we don't have all of the answers yet, we are surely onto something special that could truly change the way that great ideas are brought to market in the youth-led and community-based fashion that we prefer.

More importantly and far better than our own opinions and belief, is the fact that results from our own market analysis and extensive polling within the community is finding that the overwhelming majority of those we ask to compare "what-is" to our concepts and methods for "what could be" choose our new pathways over the status quo too. Now that's the ticket to success we're looking to create before we even get formally started:) J

Now that's what it's all about! 330 pounds kept out of the water here, hundreds of more pounds of trash cleared by our Eco Friends in Cameroon Africa, and millions of more pounds collected by volunteers around the world for Coastal Cleanup Day only proves what committed citizens working for a common cause are capable of!!!

Super thankful for the invitation to take part in the day and super proud to see all of the students and parents from Forest Grove Middle School join other volunteers and staff from the Manatee Center for a great day of community action and fun!

Looking forward to another great networking opportunity taking place next month that will give our pilot Young Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club a chance to put a number of inventions that we're teaching through on the front-end of the idea-to-market business cycle, in front of real-deal manufacturers on the Treasure Coast who can bring them to life AND MARKET!

As you can see from recent posts, we are reaching out to suppliers of recycled plastics pulled from the ocean to make our own Brand of Eco-Bagz and have a number of custom designed metal products in need of welding that make up our Safe and Green Marina Initiative which could easily be manufactured in our own backyard too.

Add that to Dr. Ruzycki's continued work at the University of Florida to develop a custom designed curriculum for our Project Based Learning and Workforce Readiness program along with her ultra generous offer to get Engineering students she's involved with at UF into the mix for product development and mentorship for our students, and I think it's fair to say that we are closer than ever to creating the youth-led and community-based pipeline we've been working on for years!!! =ECO

P.S. Here's a short video clip showing last year's inaugural event and what to expect for this year's manufacturing expo and networking BBQ. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1092396943283714

2026 Coastal Cleanup: Finally getting a chance to post a few pics taken from this weekend's Coastal Cleanup (and after-cleanup pizza & paddleboard party) along the shorelines of the Indian River Lagoon. As you can see, we were blessed with a break in recent afternoon storm patterns which allowed us to help fellow volunteers and leadership from the Fort Pierce Manatee Center remove hundreds of pounds of toxic trash and recyclable debris from finding its way into the lagoon and adjacent ocean!

While we had a number of students that couldn't attend due to previously committed events and family matters, we had a stellar group of hardworking kids and family members who helped make up the small army of volunteers that scrubbed our sliver of beautiful shoreline and prevent the last leg of urban runoff from entering (and polluting) our waterways, forever:(

Needless to say, such good work deserves good rewards, so we held a quick pizza and paddleboard party for those who could stay which gave the kids a chance to have some fun in exchange for their community service. It also gave me and Brian a chance to speak with a number of parents whose children are part of our pilot after-school program for the first time about what we're doing to teach through our pipeline of inventions and creative business ideas, and more importantly, WHY we are doing it in the youth-led and community-based fashion that we prefer.

No need to get into the details, but I think it's fair to say that we earned a few more fans for what we are doing based on the offers of help and support that were given for future events which is always good to hear from those who are already making huge commitments in trust, time, and transportation that even allows their kids to take part in our Young Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club in the first place.

In closing, whether it's these types of community events or participation in our own program as a whole, the amount of time, money, and energy that is committed for it is not taken lightly by us which is why we give a HUGE THANKS to all those who showed up in mass to make our slice of heaven on the Treasure Coast all the more beautiful as well as to our good friends from the Fort Pierce Manatee Center and Causeway Cove Marina who hosted this year's Coastal Cleanup and after-party event! Enjoy the pics, and hope to see you for the next two events on the horizon for even-more good fun and even-more good community-based time spent together:) J

While we sift through pictures and work through words to express the gratitude behind our own great day spent between the Fort Pierce Manatee Center and Causeway Cove Marina Marina for the 2026 Coastal Cleanup Day, I thought it would be a good time to share the incredible work that our good friend Awiyii Blaise and his band of Eco-Friends were doing halfway around the world to make their coastal shores of Cameroon Africa better than it was the day before!

If you haven't seen recent posts regarding our connection to Awiyii and other members of "Blue Communities" that he's tied together with through Plastic Oceans International (https://www.plasticoceans.org/) there is a very real opportunity we have to take part and collaborate within the circular economy that all of these great people and groups are putting together to repurpose and reuse plastics that are pulled from our oceans (think Eco-Bagz).

Plenty more that we hope to share about these connections being worked on behind the scene as well as even more cool news that will surely break soon regarding the connections that Awiyii helped to make between his "eco-friends" at We Save the World (https://www.wesavetheworld.org/) and education officials from our very own Manatee Center that has the potential for our own local students to raise awareness and much needed charitable dollars to help save Manatees in our own backyard and/or support other great causes to choose from around the world like Awiyii's work at Eco-Friends!!! Hope you enjoy the pics and can truly appreciate what this small group of committed people are capable of doing with just two trash pickers that were donated by We Save the World to help with the work...
