Interesting changes coming out of Florida.

Important Property Tax Proposal Update

The Florida Legislature has passed CS/HJR 1-F, “Save Our Homes from Excessive Property Taxes,” and the proposed constitutional amendment is expected to appear on the November 2026 General Election ballot for voter consideration.

This proposal could make significant changes to Florida’s property tax system, including homestead exemptions, assessment limitations, and other provisions affecting property taxation. Because this amendment could have long-term impacts for property owners, local governments, and taxpayers in our community, we encourage everyone to take the time to read the proposal, review the available information, and understand exactly what they are voting on before casting a ballot.

A little life update lately… 

Between preparing for The Blueprint, practicing moderator questions, and keeping up with a busy spring market…

This weekend I officially become a beekeeper because my bees are arriving! 

A little nervous. Very excited. And fully embracing this new adventure.
