The Safegard Group, Inc. is recruiting for a full-time, entry-level Human Resources Administrator/Executive Assistant for our Operations department that will have a variety of duties across the agency including Human Resources, Claims/Risk Control, and Administration/Reception. Qualifications:
- College Graduate, Human Resources degree preferred but not required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Team-oriented with ability to lead when necessary and take direction well.
Good written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Confidence in business and social settings.
- Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task and delegate or handle responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Duties:
- Lead new hire orientation and process all new hire paperwork in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records within agency management system and electronic files.
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality with employee records, salary information, and benefits.
- Create basic Excel spreadsheets/Word documents for clients/internal staff use.
- Practice outstanding verbal and written communication with clients and insurance carrier representatives that is professional, confident, clear, and concise.
- Serve as backup for Administration team’s tasks such as answering phones, sorting/distributing mail, monitoring the company’s primary email address, and other administrative tasks.
