Truth: Sadly, no. Standard policies usually don't cover flood damage. If you’re worried about those heavy rains, we need to look at a separate flood policy together. Myth #2: "I should insure my home for what I paid for it." Truth: Not exactly! We want to insure your home for what it would cost to rebuild it today, which can be very different from the market value. Myth #3: "Termites? My insurance has my back." Truth: Insurance is for sudden and accidental events. Most policies see pest damage as a maintenance item. Insurance can be confusing, but you're not alone! How often do we hear the phrase "I have full coverage"? Probably as often as we hear "it’s not the heat, it’s the humidity!" But here’s a little secret from your local insurance family... "Full Coverage" isn't actually a real technical term. 🤯

Let's see how well you know your policy! What does "Full Coverage" actually mean?

A) It means my car is protected by an invisible force field generated by my monthly premium.
B) It means if I accidentally hit a unicorn, the glitter damage is 100% covered.
C) It’s a common term used to describe a mix of Liability, Collision, and Comprehensive: but it doesn't actually cover *everything* under the sun.
D) It means Amanda personally comes over to buff out every tiny scratch with a microfiber towel.

I feel so blessed to have been able to spend some extra time with my daughter for Easter Monday. Thank you to my clients for understanding my desire to be a mom as well as an agent, but also please remember that I give everyone my cell phone so I can still be reached even if we are closed. Even though we were closed, I did still drive in to the office after hours to meet a client and get a payment processed that couldn't be handled over the phone. While I do want to spend the time with my family, I also make accommodations so I can be there for my clients as well.
