PLEASE HELP SHAWN & ROBYN
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Many of you may know Shawn & Robyn Green, the leaders of TAPPE ministries, Bible studies in Southern Oregon, church youth groups, BNI and more. SHAWN was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) recently. He is unable to talk beyond text to speech on a phone. Shawn can text, but please be patient.
Shawn and Robyn have always given deeply to their community, with kind hearts and wise, Christian, open hearts.
Shawn wants to work badly, but he's experiencing problems with one of his arms, and effects of medications. With constant doctor appointments here and in Portland, Robyn is working, driving, and being a wonderful caregiver to her husband.
This is a strong couple, that has always worked hard and been giving. They are experiencing problems. Maybe we can make this hard road and little lighter for both of them.
Your regular prayers for strength and clarity are highly desireable to this god-fearing couple. Take a moment right now to put them in your prayers. They believe in the power of prayer, and will appreciate it.
If you are in a position to donate financially, through GoFundMe, Anna M DeHoog, a friend we all trust, has set one up on the Greens' behalf. They agreed to it, but are modest. What if we can blow the goal out of the water and move on to a higher goal? We are really just hoping to surround them in love, and as many ways as possible.
Anna also set up a meal train because it's hard to make meals when you've traveled so much, been sick and been working. I will add it in the comments if you love to cook and would love to cook a little bit more some day, that can be frozen, in case they're called to more doctors appointments or ER visits.
