Do You Know What 100/300/100 Means on Your Auto Insurance?
You may have seen 100/300/100 listed on your auto insurance policy, but do you really know what those numbers mean?
Here’s a simple breakdown:
🔹 $100,000 — The maximum amount your policy will pay for bodily injury to one person in an accident you cause.
🔹 $300,000 — The maximum amount your policy will pay for bodily injuries to all people injured in that accident.
🔹 $100,000 — The maximum amount your policy will pay for property damage you cause to another person’s vehicle or property.
Why does this matter?
A serious accident can result in significant medical bills, vehicle damage, and other expenses. If the damages exceed your policy limits, you could be personally responsible for amounts above your coverage limits.
Don’t choose your insurance based on price alone. Know what your policy covers—and what it doesn’t.
