With its founding companies originating in 1980, LeTort Trust was formed in 2002, with the strong family business heritage of two successful financial services companies

coming together to create a new, highly personalized, business model with one goal in mind…to dedicate a firm to the financial management, legacy and risk management needs of individuals and businesses. The result today is LeTort Trust, a private trust company with dedicated professionals exclusively devoted to two primary lines of business: building and managing comprehensive qualified retirement plans for business owners, and providing personalized trust and wealth management services to individuals and institutions. Many of the staff members have been with the company for over 10 years and worked hard to build the organization to where it is today. The team at LeTort Trust has made supporting the community in which they operate and in which many of their clients reside, a top priority for the company. Their commitment has been to give 5% of their profits earned annually by LeTort Trust back to the community. In 2011, LeTort Trust established the Atgooth Foundation to be a catalyst for change within the community and a means for delivering donations to the organizations they wish to support. One primary objective for their non-profit work is to support Financial Literacy for youth in their communities. To that end, they have contributed both financial and volunteer support to Junior Achievement of South Central PA and Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week at Lycoming College. Both organizations provide creative programs to engage students in learning about relevant business and financial topics that will serve them well in their future careers. As they continue to grow and prosper, they expect the Atgooth Foundation to grow and become the visible hallmark of thanks to the community that has supported LeTort so well over the years.

Thank you to AAA Central Penn for organizing its annual Backpack Drive! LeTort Trust was proud to be one of the many sponsors supporting this year's event, which provided 2,000 backpacks to 29 nonprofit organizations across Central Pennsylvania.

We’re excited to officially welcome Seth Wildasin to the team as our Summer Intern! Seth started with us last week and has already begun gaining valuable hands-on experience alongside our Client Relationship Administrator, Chance Witmer.

Throughout the summer, Seth will work closely with Chance, learning about the industry, developing new skills, and contributing to our team. We’re looking forward to watching him learn, grow, and make an impact during his time with us.
