Look who's celebrating 100 Years of Farming!

The Weaver family was honored as the Meade County Farm Bureau 2026 Century Farm Award recipient, recognizing a remarkable century of farming in Meade County.

In 1926, John Weaver purchased 160 acres of land. 100 years later, that farm is still in operation. Over Labor Day weekend, family gathered to celebrate this incredible legacy of hard work, stewardship, and generations of family.

Families celebrating together are (left to right):

Chris & Emily Smith, Clara and Abbey;

Austin & Lyndsey Carl, and Finley;

Chase & Katharine Weaver, and Charley;

Kristi & Lyndal Weaver;

Dianne Sheetz;

Dustin Laudick & Amy Laudick, Cooper and Makenna;

Saul & Madison Medina, and Selah.

Here’s to 100 years of the Weaver family farm and the generations still to come! Congratulations to all!
