There is a widespread Windstream internet outage which includes the Bank of Mead. Around 1:30 pm, we lost our connection and were unable to post any physical transactions after that. Online, ACH and Debit Card transactions are unaffected.

Windstream estimated that the outage could last into the later hours this evening.

We will process your transactions as soon as we can and apologize for the inconvenience it may cause. If you have any questions, please give us a call tomorrow (our phones are still operational)

The Bank of Mead will be open Friday, July 3 normal hours but will be closed Saturday, July 4. Have a safe holiday!

6/23/26 2:30 Update: Online Banking system is back up and running now. All transfers from 6/18 after 5:00 pm until 6/23 2:00 pm will be posted to accounts at 5:00 today. We did our best to go thru the transfers and deny any duplicates but you may want to check your balances after 5:00 if you did a transfer during the affected time. Any transfers completed after 2:00 pm today should be working and show up immediately.

6:45 pm Update: Balances are now up to date as of 6/22 but online transfers will not post until tomorrow 6/23. There still seems to be some latency issues when using the system as well.

Our Internet Banking System has been down and not showing any pending transactions after updates on Thursday the 18th.

The balances shown are not including any transactions that have occured over the weekend or on Monday.

However, your true account balance does reflect all deposits and debits thru the current time. We are hoping our provider can get this fixed yet tonight but it might be until tomorrow.

Come check out the beautiful artwork done by Kelli Zaugg Murals of the Mead Public School Elementary building. This picture was hand drawn and painted. It will be auctioned Saturday at 6 pm at Mead Days.

It is being displayed at the Bank of Mead Main bank . What a great display of history of Mead Public School.

The Bank of Mead’s phone lines are down at the moment. We are hoping they are back to operational soon but if you get a busy signal that is why. All banking functions are up and running normally.
