My mortgage business affords me the ability to work 100% remotely. That being said, please consider the following:
Although interest rates increased last week, they are still very attractive. If you are considering Refinancing for a shorter or longer term, or desire a consolidation type loan, we can still have that discussion. I "can" lock in your interest rates for extended periods of time, such as, 60 or even 90 days. Nobody knows where rates will be when we are safely removed from the current situation. I can collect all required documents from you via a secure email. I can submit your loan into underwriting. My numerous wholesale mortgage lending channels are set up and working safely and remotely from their homes. If your property is located in a County where your title searches can be done electronically, we can obtain them, if not, that's part of why we'd consider the longer lock period. The appraisal process for now, in a lot of situations, has been streamlined to permit Drive- By( Exterior)appraisals, so as not to risk the homeowner or the Appraisers health.Depending on how long this takes, we can be almost done with the process and then wait to hold your closing until times are safer. That being said, there are Bill's pending vote that may allow Electronically signed Mortgage Documents in PA.

If you are considering buying a home in 2020, I can gladly discuss having you get prequalified now to see what your buying power is and where your comfort level might be. It is of my opinion, that this Covid-19 virus may have impacted potential sellers from listing their homes right now. If you're going to be a Buyer, get your approval out of the way, so when the highly competitive market opens back up, you'll be a step ahead of other potential buyers!
‐--------------------
If you are going to be Listing your home soon, take this time at home to evaluate your home. I would first take a look at other homes online and pretend you are a potential buyer. Look at the room by room photos. What do you see? Color choices, too much clutter, too much furniture in each room. Now, come back to your home. Your exterior Curb Appeal begins as a potential buyer drives up to your home. Do you need a new mailbox? Or, can you spruce it up, paint it,or landscape around it. Do you have "any" clutter viewable from the front side? If so, remove it, things like garbage cans, sporting equipment, etc. How does your front door look? Do you any exterior relaxation areas such as patios, porches, firepit? Potential buyers want to imagine themselves in those areas. Spruce them up. Moving inside, and I can personally tell you from recently selling our home, you need to remove or reposition furniture to make each room look as spacious as possible ( similar to what vacation rentals make their places look like). You can also begin to de-clutter each room and pack non- essential items into boxes and put them all in one area, such as a corner of your garage. It not only makes each room more appealing, but it will save you on packing time, when the time does come.
I can be reached 7 days a week using my Cell phone (412) 498-7391 and would welcome your calls.
