My given name is Charles Avery Blair or Big A as I am known to most of my friends an
d clients. I was raised in the Short Mountain Community of Cannon County and graduated from Woodbury High School in 1976. I am married to Linda Blair and we have 4 children – Adam, Jess, Joshua and Courtney and now grandchildren. I obtained my life and health license in 1990, and began selling life and health, while continuing full-time employment with De Zurik Corporation in McMinnville. In 2000, when De Zurik announced that it was moving its McMinnville operation to Minnesota, I viewed this as an opportunity to further my insurance career. So I went back to school and obtained my license to sell property and casualty insurance. I was an agent with a captive company for several years, and I realized that I could not help my clients with all of their insurance needs with only one company. By becoming an independent agent in 2008, I have been able to provide my clients with a broader spectrum in which to quote their insurance business. I believe in the “old school” ways – you are the client, ultimately, you are the one reason I have a business. Therefore, I work for you – the client. I take pride and passion in understanding the importance of being a true agent for my clients. You will always be treated with respect from our agency, and will be greeted with a smile.
