Our Financial Planning Associate, Joaquin Grimord, recently had the opportunity to lead a financial literacy workshop for a wrestling group with Beat the Streets DC as part of its Summer Enrichment Program!

Joaquin’s presentation focused on practical financial skills participants can carry with them into the future, from creating a budget and managing money to understanding banking, credit cards, and the importance of paying off balances. He also provided an overview of Roth IRAs and how they can be used for long-term retirement savings.

To bring investing concepts to life, the workshop also included an interactive trading game and stock market simulation, giving the group a hands-on opportunity to explore how investing and the markets work.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support financial education and spend time with the next generation!
