This week is “Friends of The Library” week. Henry County Farm Bureau in partnership with EMC delivered the children’s book “Henry Ford Grows A Car” to the 5 library’s in Henry County system. Monday night Henry County Farm Bureau Board members and Womens Committee got together for our first Board meeting since February! It was so good to see all of our Farm Bureau family. We were hosted by Southern Belle Farm and treated to a cookout prepared by their kitchen staff. We topped the evening off with some of their delicious homemade ice cream. There is none better!
And as you can see we are getting ready to vote in November. Know your candidate and vote with knowledge. Get out to the polls and vote for the character of those who you know will hold farming, our community, and our agriculture safe.

Henry County Farm Bureau is still operating to help our existing customers and welcome new customers. We are closed for face to face business so we may keep you and our employees safe. But we have options available if you need to make a payment or speak with your insurance agent or get a quote. If you need to speak with someone in our Claims Department, please dial 1-855-432-2567. We are here to serve you during this difficult season.
Let’s all pull together to stop the spread of COVID-19. Only leave your home if absolutely necessary. Stay 6 feet away from others. Don’t do projects that may put you at risk for a hospital visit. Pray for our Nation, our leaders, our front line workers, for one another, and for the termination of this virus.
Reach out to others through social media and phone calls. Check on your neighbors and the elderly who are in your social circle. And stay safe!
