Haven't received your refund? There are more reasons than 1 that can cause a delay:
☝️The #1 Reason is delays in processing times. Let's be real, It's tax season! Millions of returns are getting submitted and processed.
✌️ The IRS mailed out numerous Verification letters, if your received one please verify so that you can get your refund.
👌 If you changed your filing status from last year, you will get flagged
🤦 If you owe the IRS, Child Support, State, etc your return may have been offset, call 1-800-304-3107 to check your status

🚨 Verify Letters Are Out 🚨

By now if it’s been over 21 days and you haven’t received your refund, you most likely need to verify your identity.

The IRS will send a letter in the mail for you to call in or go online to verify. We’ve seen a few common factors such as clients that are claiming new addresses, new dependents, and etc.

Here’s what you do:
1️⃣ Open your tax return for 2022
2️⃣ Begin the verification
3️⃣ Enter AGI & Refund amount
4️⃣ Enter the Last Four of Account Number (Locate the third party bank routing and account number for your refund)
5️⃣ Call or text your preparer if you have any questions

Your refund comes a week after this is done!

The IRS updates Where's My Refund (WMR) on Saturdays! Be sure to check for updates. If your status doesn't change on Saturday dont be alarmed, the IRS is processing millions of returns.
