Our whole crew had one of those perfectly balanced Idaho weekends — a little adventure, a little hard work, and a whole lot of life happening all at once.
Michael’s mix of hiking up the Salmon River with the dogs and snowboarding in McCall with his son feels like the kind of weekend you remember for a long time. That stretch of the Salmon is gorgeous this time of year — crisp air, quiet trails, and dogs living their absolute best lives.
And meanwhile, Caleb and Jacquie were on a completely different kind of adventure: welcoming a new little heifer into the world. A Sunday‑night calf arrival always adds a bit of excitement, but there’s something special about seeing new life hit the ground healthy and strong.
