Over a year ago this video went viral on tiktok and also Instagram with a combined total views of 6 million views and over 714k comments.

A lot of people were asking about the compound interest account I use for my son and daughter.

So I’ll answer that quickly here. I use a specific type of life insurance that allows their money to grow over time and compound.

I put away $150 each month for my oldest son and $120 for my other kids. (My oldest son gets a bit more because we started his plan when he was 2yrs old and the others started at birth. So this will make sure they have about the same in their account at age 18).

They will each have around 30,000+ in their account at 18 and that is all protected against a market crash. (If they don’t touch it and let it grow they’ll be millionaires at retirement on just this plan alone)

True Story: In October of 2016 I got married to my beautiful wife. For my bachelor party that summer I went to Austin, TX and ate a bunch of bbq and floated on the river with my brothers and friends.

On the way to Salt Lick BBQ we were driving down the highway and almost got into a car wreck at 75 mph. I was in the back seat so all I could do was brace for impact..

Thankfully we didn't get in that wreck but I can assure you that my adrenaline was pumping.
If you've ever been in those type of situations you know that time slows down. You are able to have thoughts that seem to last minutes all take place within a split second. Let me share with you the following thoughts that went through my mind as we were about to crash..

How would Holly take it if I pass away in this wreck?
I hope she knows I love her.
Wait I have that $100,000 life insurance plan and she's my beneficiary.
At least she will have something if I have to go now..
It was a really scary moment for me but if i'm being honest it gave me peace knowing I had her taken care of for the next couple of years with the life insurance I got when I was 24.
Since then we've added two kids (one on the way) and a couple of homes to the family. Needless to say I have more life insurance today to cover my family's needs. Over $400,000 to be exact.

If you or a loved one need to look into getting covered my suggestion is do it now. Don't put it off. It's something we all procrastinate on but your family's financial well-being is a very serious matter.
