FKB employees attended the Education Excellence Lunch Blender hosted by the Mayfield-Graves County Chamber of Commerce, where community members gathered to celebrate the outstanding educational systems shaping our region. đâ¨
Guests heard from presenting sponsors Chris Wooldridge, Director of Economic and Entrepreneurial Development for Murray State University, as well as Dr. Anton Reece, President and CEO of West Kentucky Community and Technical College, who shared updates on workforce development, student opportunities, and the important role higher education plays in strengthening our local communities and future generations.
Attendees also received valuable updates and insights from Mayfield Independent Schools, Graves County Schools, and Northside Baptist Christian School as they highlighted achievements, special programs, and the continued impact local schools have on students across our area.
Another highlight of the Lunch Blender was the graduation of the Leadership Mayfield Class of 2026. We congratulate all of the graduates and extend special recognition to John Farthing, FKB Vice President, Commercial/Ag Lending. This achievement is a testament to Johnâs dedication, as well as the entire classâs commitment to serving and strengthening our community. đ
We also want to recognize and thank First Kentucky Bank employees Victoria Burgess and Zach Alexander, who represent the bank in their roles as MGC Chamber Ambassadors and helped support the event.
