Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001; a day that forever changed our nation.

Twenty-five years have passed, but we have not forgotten the 2,983 lives lost that day, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the courage and sacrifice of the first responders and everyday Americans who stepped forward in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

Today, we honor their memory, reflect on the strength and unity our nation showed in the days that followed, and remember all those who continue to carry the impact of September 11 with them.

We will never forget.
