State Farm has sent in more resources to Charleston where people are still picking up after last Wednesday's tornado and working to get in touch with their insurance company.

We have received reports of scammers posing as roofing companies from out of town who say they will inspect roofs for storm damage free of charge. As always, DO NOT give out any personal information to anyone you do not know or who contacts you randomly. If you have questions, we are happy to assist you to determine if it is a scam or not.

You can also easily report a claim on your State Farm phone app📱! Be sure to take pictures of the damage and make the necessary temporary repairs to prevent further damage 🔨.
