Sixteen billion login credentials. That’s how massive the latest credential leak is — and it’s a serious wake-up call for anyone with an online account.
This wasn’t a single new breach, but rather a compilation of stolen data from multiple breaches, much of it collected through malware. It includes usernames and passwords from major platforms like Google, Apple, Facebook, and more.
Even if your data wasn’t part of this leak, now’s the time to take action:
✅Update your passwords, especially if you reuse them.
✅Use a password manager to keep your logins unique and secure.
✅Turn on multi-factor authentication — app-based or hardware is best.
✅Consider switching to passkeys where available.
✅Monitor your accounts for unusual activity.
We hope this guidance is helpful for you. And as always, reach out with any questions or needs that develop this summer.
