Our own Chandra was hanging out with Alan Frank, owner of SolPie Pizza. In Chandra's words: "Talking with Alan you can tell he has so much passion and love for making quality pizza. From experience, this is no ordinary pizza place; it is in a class by itself. There is great thought in these pizza creations. Alan takes pride in using top quality ingredients you look for like grass-fed beef, fresh organic ingredients, local vegetables/produce with a wide variety of options you don’t get at other pizza shops. I mean they created a whole SOL-osophy to better serve their customers. The Birria, is a seasonal pizza that will not be at SOL for long with an amazing jalapeno sauce. My creation has spinach, portabella mushrooms, roasted peppers, and candied jalapenos. These pizzas are so delicious and comforting to the tummy, it may not make it home. I always grab at least one slice before making it through the doors as you can see from the picture. It’s worth every penny, down to the crust!"
