What is a work from home scam?
Fraudsters offer jobs working from home for fast and easy money. These scams will ask you to provide your social security number and other personal information before you are hired, say that you need to make an upfront payment, or send you a check above the agreed amount and tell you to send a portion back.

Things to remember:
- You won’t receive an offer for a job you didn’t apply for.
- If the job posting is not listed on the company’s legitimate website, it is probably a scam.
- Interviews should not be conducted via Google Hangout, Telegram, WhatsApp or other similar apps.
- If you get the email offer from a free account, such as Hotmail, Yahoo, or Gmail, it is probably not real.
- You should never have to pay to get the job.
- A job offer will not require you to provide your personal information, such as Social Security number, driver’s license, or bank account during the interview.
- No real employer will send you a check, tell you to buy stuff with it, and then ask you to send money back.

Qualified applicants need to be proficient in the latest version of Excel and Word, be self-motivated, and detail oriented. Must be able to follow compliance policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality. We are seeking a reliable individual who has excellent interpersonal communication skills that can provide our clients with exceptional service. Previous banking or cash handling experience is preferred but not required.

Key responsibilities: Maintains accurate records of transactions, performs account maintenance, issues money orders, cashiers checks, and redeems savings bonds. Prepares settlements for teller cash and proof transactions. Promotes the bank’s services and refers customers to other products and services, along with other day to day banking duties or assigned projects.
