I always felt like I got cheated not knowing either of my grandfathers. This is a picture of my Grandpa Pepelnjak who was an incredible man by all accounts. He didn’t die in service to his country but many have paid that ultimate sacrifice.

On this Memorial Day, I am increasingly grateful for our freedom that many have given their lives to preserve.
