🚧 LOCAL ROAD CLOSURE ALERT — 88th Street NE 🚧

A quick heads-up for our friends and neighbors! BNSF Railway will be closing 88th Street NE at the railroad crossing for major crossing repair work this weekend.

📅 Friday, Aug. 21: Closed from 9 AM–12 PM

📅 Saturday, Aug. 22: Closure begins at 7 AM

🚧 The crossing will remain CLOSED through approximately 6 PM Monday, Aug. 24.

If this is part of your normal route, be sure to plan ahead, use an alternate route and give yourself a little extra travel time.

The reopening time is approximate and could change depending on construction conditions.

🚗 Please drive safely, watch for detour signs and be patient with the extra traffic!

Road Closure Notice: BNSF Railway will close 88th Street NE at the railroad crossing for major crossing repair work Friday, Aug. 21, through Monday, Aug. 24, 2026. The road will be closed from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, Aug. 21. It will close again at 7 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, and remain closed continuously until approximately 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24. Drivers should plan ahead, use alternate routes, allow extra travel time and be patient while the work is underway. The reopening time is approximate and may change depending on construction conditions. This work is part of a BNSF Railway project to improve the pavement at the 88th Street Northeast crossing.
