Ways to Protect Your Family and Home:

• Protect pipes by dripping faucets and insulating exposed plumbing. Open the cabinets underneath faucets to keep them from freezing.
• Disconnect and drain outdoor faucets to prevent them from freezing.
• Ensure vehicles are winter-ready and fuel tanks are full. Stay off the roads unless it is an emergency.
• Use heaters safely. Keep them away from flammable objects and don't leave them unattended. Do not use propane heaters indoors.
• Clear gutters from snow if possible to prevent roof damage.
• Keep flashlights, batteries, and portable phone chargers nearby in case of a power outage.
