Calhoun County Farm Bureau recently donated farm-focused educational books and other materials to the Willard, Helen Warner and Marshall District libraries. Materials included factual books about agriculture and Michigan farm commodities, and a selection of farmy toys for pre-readers.

Almost 30 local elementary, middle and high schools were also on the receiving end of donations of educational materials vetted to ensure their accuracy in portraying modern agricultural practices. Farm Bureau is Calhoun County’s largest farm organization, representing the interests of almost 800 local farm families and raising awareness of the industry that fills grocery stores, cupboards, tables and bellies every day.
