As an insurance professional, sometimes I can't always say what you want to hear. We have rules, regulations, laws, and underwriting guidelines that *MUST* be followed.

Sometimes options come with trade offs. We all want the cake and be able to eat it.

PSA to homeowners:

Review your renewals. The industry as a whole is getting away from 1% wind / hail deductibles in favor of *2%* deductibles for wind and hail. Some companies have already made the shift, some have not yet.

If your home has a replacement cost of $300,000, your deductible for hail will change from $3000 to $6000.

Please keep yourself prepared financially for this change.

On a positive note, it should help keep rates from rising AS fast.

Farmers has been very competitive with home insurance. We will be making this shift in the near future as well with our home policies.

Farmers Insurance – The McDaniel Agency is looking for a hard working and upbeat person who is outgoing, likes talking to people, and can start, carry and direct a conversation while working with our clients.

This is an entry level, part-time position that could lead to a full-time career.

You will have an opportunity to reach out to current clients to discuss their insurance policy renewals, updating personal information, and billing. You will also be working with clients to verify documents, collect signatures, and help make their experience with our office awesome. There may also be additional tasks assigned as needed.
Compensation will be dependent on the applicant’s experience and licensing status, but will *not* be minimum wage.
The hours may be flexible, but will require consistency – planned changes can be worked with (i.e. school scheduling, kid functions, family obligations, etc.).

This position will require a background check performed by Farmers. A desire to obtain insurance licensing is a plus. Already licensed is even better!
