We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Marseilles Fire Protection District, Marseilles Police Department, Marseilles ESDA, City of Marseilles employees and street crew, and every volunteer who came out to help our fellow citizens.

Your hard work, dedication, and willingness to step up when our community needed you most does not go unnoticed. This is what makes Marseilles such a special place to call home.

If you have downed power lines, trees down, or other issues related to today's storms please call 815-795-4300. If you need a cooling center please come to City Hall. Otherwise, if you are able to shelter in place at this time please do so as crews are working through cleaning up the City.

Embrace your creative side at Open Mic Poetry Night at Open Space Art Gallery & Studios tonight, or stop by the Free Little Art Gallery Create and Donate Pop-up at Annette Barr Photography Studio tomorrow!

Or, make a morning downtown on Saturday at the Ottawa Farmers and Makers Market, then head over to the Craft and Vendors' Show in Jordan Block, then wander down to Albin Stevens Drive for the 42nd Annual LaSalle County Cruisers Car Show!

On Sunday, bring the kids to Riordan Pool for a FREE pool party, generously sponsored by Ottawa Special Events Group, Ottawa YMCA, and Ottawa Visitors Center The Middle of Everywhere!
