Thank you Marquette Area Public Schools for letting us join you this morning to pack JJ Packs for spring break. We also were able to award them a $2500 grant our agency secured from the Agent Charitable Fund - Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan as we strive to end hunger in our local communities.

We had the privilege this morning to present the The Salvation Army Family Store - Marquette with a $2000 grant to help with food insecurity in Marquette. This grant was made possible by the Agent Charitable Fund - Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan. If you have an organization that could benefit from one of our grants to help with food insecurity in the upper peninsula please reach out to our office.

The Salvation Army will use this money to help keep its pantry stocked, as donations lessen and food prices are still high.

Even road commission employees were struggling to get to work, despite being equipped for heavy snow.
