"A direct flight from Philadelphia to Italy is about 9 hours. If the nose of the plane were pointed just 1 degree south... it would end up in Africa."

A member of my planning team used this analogy recently.

Now.. I have no idea if this is true😂it does sound a bit exaggerated, but the message is pretty clear.

Most people don’t make massive mistakes overnight...It’s usually small actions (or no action at all), repeated consistently over time. This concept applies no matter what life stage you're in.

- Young professionals missing out on early compounding
- New parents not saving for their child's education
- Pre-retirees just hoping Social Security is enough

How long into the flight are you willing to go before a course correction?

Realistically, the best time to work with an advisor was probably 10 years ago when you had a longer runway.

The second-best time is now.

Had the chance to attend our financial planning workshop today.

It’s good to get away from the office from time to time. Always interested in hearing new ideas/perspectives from our senior advisors and specialists.

You have accounts, not a plan.

This is a common theme I’ve noticed.

A lot of people making good money don’t actually have a strategy; they just have accounts.

401(k) through work, a brokerage account here, a savings account there, maybe even some insurance policies sprinkled in, but there's no real coordination between them.

That's not a financial plan, that's just a series of products you purchased over time.

So even if things are growing, there’s still this feeling of:
“Am I actually doing this right?”

A real plan isn’t about doing more—it’s about making what you already have work together.
