Live with purpose - “Friday Bobby Bikeride”

Four years ago, a friend and former colleague passed away far too soon—Bobby was just 53 when cancer took him.

Though I only knew him for a couple of years, the impact he made on me—and so many others—was lasting.

Most of his clients never knew that on Friday afternoons, Bobby would often step away. Not for business or errands, but to race his motorcycle or take a ride on his “buddy bike” with his son George.

In a world of constant notifications, meetings, and noise, Bobby made space for what mattered. He lived his values: family first, then friends, then clients.

It’s a simple but powerful reminder—especially for those of us running businesses or serving others—that we can’t give our best to anyone if we don’t take time for ourselves and the people we love.

Breaking Through Limiting Beliefs: A Recent Success Story

What does it truly mean to be an “impact lender” and change people’s lives? At GSM Commercial Capital, it means helping investors break through barriers, scale their portfolios, and achieve financial freedom.

We’ve now financed 136 units ($9,450,000 in loans) for a client who started with just 25 units when we first met. Along the way, we helped him strategically upgrade his portfolio through new acquisitions and sales of some of his early investments. Today, the total value of his real estate holdings has grown 8x since we began working together.

His latest acquisition? This $1,050,000 10-unit building—the largest single property purchase he’s made so far. Sometimes, a Private Commercial Mortgage is the best solution—this was one of those cases.

We recently closed an $800,000 Private Mortgage for an experienced builder to complete construction on two residential condos. Instead of requiring a hefty cash down payment, we leveraged the investor’s existing assets to structure a 0 out-of-pocket loan.
✅ How? By cross-collateralizing the two condos under construction along with a free-and-clear commercial unit, we provided the financing without any upfront capital for the investor.
