Fyi
I hate having to report this two weeks in a row, but this week's May 7 edition of the Berlin Journal, Green Lake Reporter, Princeton Times-Republic, Markesan Regional Reporter and Omro Herald have unfortunately been delayed ... but are on their way!
Working with the post office today (Thursday, May 7) we were able to get our newspaper verified and delivered to area post offices this afternoon. Local subscribers should be seeing their newspapers in tomorrow's (Friday's) mail, or at the latest on Saturday.
Long story short ... As printing / mailing has moved to our new main offices, we learned, after the fact last week, that the software we use was causing some newspapers to be rerouted. Working with the post office, the situation has been remedied. This week's May 7 edition will be delayed one to two days, depending on where you live, but as stated, local subscribers SHOULD be seeing their newspapers either on Friday, or at the latest on Saturday.
And, it is now my understanding that we have everything set up correctly so that we should return to "normal" delivery with next week's May 14 editions.
I've talked with quite a few subscribers today, and I completely understand your frustration. That being said, I've also greatly appreciated hearing how much you look forward to getting your newspaper each week, and how concerned you are when it's not there.
I would like to thank all of you for welcoming us into your home 52 weeks a year. It is an honor to cover our communities and bring this news to you each and every week, event when it sometimes arrives late.
So please know that we are doing what we need to do in order to get our delivery back on track. I thank you for your understanding and your patience.
