Fraudsters can spoof your bank's phone number, making it look like they're really calling from your bank. They may claim there's fraudulent activity on your account and say they need to start an investigation but first ask you to log into your online banking, then send you a malicious link to do it.

Your bank will NEVER send you a link to log into your online banking account. If you get a call like this, hang up and contact your bank directly using a number you trust.
