Teachers — bring the farm to the classroom this year!🐮📚

Through Discover Dairy’s (free) Adopt a Cow program, classrooms can “adopt” a real dairy calf and follow its journey throughout the school year!

Students receive photos and updates as their calf grows, along with activity sheets, lessons and opportunities to learn how dairy farmers care for animals and cows produce milk.

Applications are open for the 2026 Alfa Youth Leadership Conference!

High school freshmen and sophomores will grow leadership skills, enhance agricultural knowledge and connect with students from across the state.

🆕The same conference experience will be offered during two separate sessions, allowing up to 192 students to participate. Each student will be assigned to attend one session only.

Good things come to those who work hard. Great things come to those who never give up! 🎓

The Alfa Foundation recently awarded $100,000 in scholarships to 100 students attending colleges and universities across Alabama. Each recipient received $1,000 to help cover tuition, books and supplies in the 2026-27 academic year.

Since 2014, the Foundation has awarded $1.25 million to students through its scholarship program, administered by Kaleidoscope.
