Sometimes the interest rate gets so much of the attention that we forget the bigger question:

“Does this payment actually feel comfortable for me?”

A lower rate doesn’t automatically mean a better fit, and a higher rate doesn’t automatically mean you should walk away.

Your budget, your monthly payment, your other financial goals, and how you feel about the payment all matter.

In a follow-up interview question, Candy and Stephanie were asked what they would do for work if they weren't super star mortgage lenders. Quite surprisingly, neither of them said they would be a detective, investigator, special agent, or criminal prosecutor.
We would like to suggest that Candy would make a great Judge 👩‍⚖️⚖ and Stephanie would be great at podcasting (professional yapper)!
