You’ve heard it a thousand times: you must have a down payment of 20% to buy a home. But is that really true? Consider this:

🖋️ First, don’t fret — the average first-time homebuyer put down 7% in 2021, according to the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

🖋️ While a 20% down payment will decrease your monthly mortgage payment and allow you to avoid private mortgage insurance, there are many types of loans that require far less than 20%.

🖋️ An FHA loan requires as little as 3.5% down, and USDA and VA loans require zero down. That means you finance 100% of the home price and put $0 toward the purchase price.

This weekend calls for a “super bowl” — and no, we’re not talking football! We're talking about a super burrito bowl that’s perfect for game day. 🏈

Here’s how to whip up a winning dish:

🍚 Cook 3 cups of cilantro lime rice (or use white or brown rice).
🌶️ Sauté fajita veggies — green peppers, red peppers, and onions.
🥣 In a large bowl, layer the rice, 2 cups of beans (black or pinto), and sautéed veggies.
