📱 A SIMPLE TIP THAT COULD SAVE YOU A HEADACHE LATER!

When was the last time you took pictures of the things you own?

Most of us don't think twice about our furniture, electronics, clothing, jewelry, appliances, and other belongings until something happens to them.

Here's an easy tip: Take a few minutes to walk through your home or apartment and record a video of your belongings! 🏡

Open closets, drawers, cabinets, and storage areas. For expensive items, take close-up photos and save receipts when possible.

If you ever experience a fire, theft, or another covered loss, having a record of your belongings can make the claims process much easier.

💡 Bonus tip: Save your photos or videos somewhere backed up, like cloud storage, so you can still access them if your phone is lost or damaged.

A few minutes today could make a big difference down the road!

🦌🚗 It's that time of year again!

As we head further into fall, deer are becoming more active — and unfortunately, that means we're also entering a time of year when drivers need to be especially alert on the road.

Our friends at Rockford Mutual put together 6 helpful tips to help avoid deer collisions, including:

🦌 Pay extra attention around dawn and dusk
⚠️ Slow down and stay alert in areas marked with deer crossing signs
💡 Use your high beams when traffic permits
🦌 Remember — if you see one deer, there may be more nearby
🚗 Brake firmly and stay in your lane rather than swerving
📣 Use your horn to help frighten deer away

And if a collision does happen, remember that hitting a deer is generally handled under comprehensive coverage on your auto policy.

🍂 September, that's a wrap!

It's hard to believe we're already saying goodbye to September! Between the cooler mornings, changing leaves, and football season getting into full swing, fall is definitely making its way into Wisconsin. 🍁🏈

You head downstairs and discover water coming up through a drain or your sump system has backed up… now what?

This is where Water Backup Coverage may come into play.

Depending on your policy, this coverage can help with certain water damage caused by a sewer or drain backup or a sump system backup or overflow.
