Slips, trips, and falls are some of the most common workplace injuries — but many can be prevented with simple, everyday safety habits.

Encourage your clients to keep walkways clear, clean up spills quickly, use signage when needed, and report hazards before someone gets hurt.

Small steps can make a big difference.

When a claim comes in, it’s more than just a process—it’s a moment that matters.

Debbie, our Claims Supervisor, plays an important role in guiding the process with a steady, thoughtful approach. Her focus on clear communication and follow-through helps ensure things stay on track while clients feel supported every step of the way.

It’s people like Debbie who make all the difference.

We’re grateful to have her on the UBIC team.

When a workers’ comp claim is filed, a lot starts happening—quickly.

From initial contact to coordinating care and managing next steps, every detail matters.

At UBIC, our claims team works behind the scenes to keep the process moving smoothly, communicate clearly, and support both the employer and the employee every step of the way.

Because it’s not just about handling claims—it’s about handling them well.

📢 Important policy update from UBIC:

Starting today, all insurance agents must participate in mandatory donut breaks twice daily.

Research shows frosting dramatically improves productivity.

Unfortunately… our compliance department says this policy is not enforceable.

April Fool’s! 😄

But we still fully support donut breaks whenever possible.
