BREAKING NEWS: Michigan residents have emerged from hibernation. ☀️🌷

After months of scraping windshields, dodging potholes, and wondering if spring was ever going to show up, we're finally seeing some sunshine and warmer temperatures!

You know it's officially Michigan summer when:
✅ The grill is fired up
✅ Lawn mowers are working overtime
✅ Everyone suddenly remembers they own patio furniture
✅ The weather forecast doesn't include the words "wintry mix"

Get outside, soak up some sunshine, and enjoy it... because if Michigan has taught us anything, it could be 42° and snowing again by Thursday. 😆

🚨 OFFICE CLOSED MONDAY 🚨

Abbott and Powers Insurance will be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day.

Ryan will be attempting to master the grill.
Mary will be pretending not to judge his burger flipping technique.
Both will be honoring and remembering the men and women who gave everything for our freedom. 🇺🇸

We hope everyone has a safe weekend full of sunshine, good food, and at least one family argument over how to properly cook hot dogs.

We’ll be back in the office Tuesday!

🐔💃 Apparently today is National Dance Like A Chicken Day… which explains why Ryan and Mary were flapping around the office when the coffee kicked in this morning.

Michigan in May is basically all of us playing a dangerous game of “Is it finally safe to plant flowers?” 🌸😂

Plant it in the right spot now = shade, curb appeal, and fewer “uhhh… is this covered?” phone calls later.

Pro tip: Trees are great. Trees on your roof… not so much.

You know it’s spring in Michigan when you’re planting flowers at 3pm and tucking them in like toddlers by 9pm 🌱🥶

Last night’s hard frost had everyone out there:

✔️ Whispering “you’ll be fine” like it actually helps

If your landscaping survived… congrats. If not… well… at least you’re not filing a claim on your petunias 😅

Michigan finally said, “Alright, I guess we’ll do spring now…” 🌧️🌷

Yesterday: snow boots
Today: rain jacket
Tomorrow: who knows… probably all of it again before lunch

At this point, if your umbrella, sunglasses, and winter coat aren’t all in your car… you’re doing Michigan wrong.

But hey — rain means green grass, full lakes, and potholes getting a little harder to see 😅
