Chris began her career with the Bank in 1985, as a Teller Trainee. Over the last four decades, her dedication, expertise, and commitment to excellence have led her through numerous roles across the organization, including positions in Retail Banking, Deposit Operations and Services, Accounting, and Systems Administration.

Today, Chris serves as the Bank's VP / Security Officer, a critical role that supports the protection of our organization, customers, employees, and operations. Her work helps ensure that Marblehead Bank maintains a strong security culture and continues to safeguard the trust our customers place in us every day.

Throughout her remarkable career, Chris has demonstrated exceptional adaptability, professionalism, and a willingness to take on new challenges. Her extensive knowledge of the Bank and her commitment to serving both her colleagues and our customers have made her an invaluable member of the Marblehead Bank team.

Scam Alert for Residents, Developers & Business Owners 🚨

A nationwide phishing scam is targeting people with active applications before local Planning and Zoning Boards. Scammers are sending convincing emails that use real names, case numbers, property addresses, and even town logos to demand urgent payments. We are sharing the Marblehead Police Department post.

✅ Remember:
• Towns and planning boards will never ask for payments via wire transfer, cryptocurrency, or gift cards.
• Always check the sender's email address. Official government emails end in .gov or .us.
• Never click links or call numbers in suspicious messages. Instead, contact your town directly using the official phone number listed on its website.
When in doubt, verify before you pay. Stay vigilant and help protect our community from fraud. 🔒💻

Warning to residents, developers, board members.

There has been a widespread phishing and impersonation scam nationwide, targeting people with active applications with local Planning and Zoning Boards.

How the Scam Works
• Targeting Public Records: Scammers scrape public meeting agendas, planning boar d minutes, and zoning notices to identify individuals, builders, or business owners with real, pending applications
• Realistic Impersonation: Emails or notices use spoofed sender addresses, real official names, accurate case numbers, property addresses, and official town logos or seals
• Demand for Wire Transfers: The messages claim an urgent fee, deposit, or "expediting" charge is required immediately and demand payment via electronic wire transfer, ACH, or gift cards.
How to Protect Yourself
• Municipalities Never Wire , Local planning boards and Town Halls do not request application fees, permits, or fines via wire transfer, cryptocurrency, or gift cards
• Check the Domain: Legitimate government emails always end in .gov or .us, not free or generic email services like .com. (ex: Marblehead emails will always end in .gov)
• Independent Verification: Do not reply to the email, click any links, or call the phone number listed in the suspicious message. Instead, look up your town’s official phone number independently and call the department directly

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Free Shredding Day!

We were thrilled to see so many people take advantage of this free community service to help protect their personal information through secure document destruction.

Although the shredding truck experienced a hydraulic issue near the end of the event, your patience and support helped make the day a success. Despite this issue, we were able to finish shredding everyone's documents so we're especially grateful to our incredible volunteers, Stephanie, Amy, Bella, Joey, and Walden, who kept things running smoothly throughout a busy day.

Thanks to your generosity, we delivered approximately 55 bags of food donations and $830 to the Marblehead Food Pantry, and we were also proud to collect donations for the Ellie Fund.

Remember, Marblehead Bank lobbies serve as a year-round collection site for the Marblehead Food Pantry, Every donation helps!

Thank you for helping us turn a community event into an opportunity to support neighbors in need.

Marblehead Turns Pink for the Ellie Fund! 💗

Join us at our Free Community Shredding Event tomorrow, Saturday, October 3, from 9 AM to Noon at Marblehead Bank, 21 Atlantic Ave.

While you're dropping off documents for secure shredding, we're also collecting donations for the Marblehead Turns Pink for the Ellie Fund, which helps breast cancer patients and their families with everyday essentials and support.

And, we're collecting non-perishable food items for the Marblehead Food Pantry.
