🐾❤️ Happy National Dog Day! ❤️🐾

We had some very special visitors at Seasons at Maplewood yesterday! Our team members brought their pups in to spend time with our residents—and, of course, enjoy a few well-deserved treats! 🦴🐶

There’s just something about puppy cuddles, wagging tails, and four-legged friends that can brighten everyone’s day. We’re so grateful to our team members for sharing their furry family members with us!

This supportive gathering offers space for grief support, education, and meaningful connection with others who have experienced losses of various kinds, including the death of a loved one, shifts in independence and residence, changes in relationships, and other significant life changes.

Led by Ecumen Hospice staff, our time together provides a compassionate environment to share stories, learn new insights, and walk alongside one another as we navigate grief and discover new beginnings. Did you know here at SAM, we have an ambassador committee made up of residents? This committee helps make welcome baskets, helps our new friends adjust to our community, volunteers their apartments for tours, and so much more.
