M&M Insurance was established in 1959 by Wally Johnson with the first office located in Minnesota Lake. Ten years later he became the sole owner when his father retired. Chad Ostermann became partner in the agency in 2011, and when Mike retired at the end of 2018, Chad and his wife Joy became the sole owners of M&M Insurance. Years after Wally established the agency M&M is stronger than ever, empl

oying a knowledgeable staff of licensed customer service representatives and six licensed agents. Chad Ostermann, after receiving his insurance license in 2005, has been a member of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors) since 2005, serving as president in 2014. As a member of MIIAB (Minnesota Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers) he served as president in 2020-21 and continues to be an active member. Chad is a member of Board of Directors at Fairmont Farmer Mutual. Joy Ostermann received her insurance license in 1993 and has many years of experience owing and operating an insurance agency. Brent Sexton has had his insurance license since 2002 and joined M&M Insurance in 2016. In 2020 Abby Roberts joined our team from Wells Insurance Agency. She has many years of Insurance experience. Jonah is our newest team member, joining us in 2022. Along with the help of customer service staff of Cassie Winters, Lisa Loegering, Stefanie Rath, Tammi Terbeest & Jessica Yokiel, the agents continue to help customers protect their financial assets and property against loss. M&M insurance works with over 20 companies and handle all types of insurance to offer customers the right option to fulfil their needs. Both of our offices in Mapleton & Wells, are open daily from 8 AM-12 PM & 1 PM-4:30 PM or by appointment.
