It’s Older Driver Safety Awareness Week (December 1–5), and the CHP is proud to support California’s seniors through our Age Well, Drive Smart Program.

This program helps older adults stay safe and confident behind the wheel, reduces crashes and pedestrian injuries, and offers guidance on alternate transportation options when driving is no longer the safest choice. Ensuring senior mobility and roadway safety though Age Well, Drive Smart has been a CHP priority for more than six years.
