For 22+ Years while I ran THUMBTECHS, we put puzzles together for at least the last 6+ years in the kitchen / break area. When I moved into the new Mebuis offices in May of 2024 and I furnished the offices, I looked at the break area table in the kitchen and said I need to get a puzzle. About 2 months ago, I finally did it. It was great to see the team members in the office participate in putting it together. We finished it a few days ago.
If anyone of us was sitting there working on it, it attracted another to jump in too.
Together as a team we figured it out. Together as a team we worked on it. Together as team we bonded and found a few moments to do it together.
At the start, the puzzle had 1000 pieces. We had to go through them to find the frame. Then we took pieces that looked like they went together, and grouped them up on the table. Green with green, blue with blue, cloud looking pieces with cloud looking pieces, pieces with lettering on them, rock to rock, etc. Then we took a group and started to figure out how it all went together, slowly part of the picture was being built, the project progressed with greater understanding. Momentum started and section of the puzzle started to assemble quicker and quicker. By the end, with the pieces remaining it was a swift ex*****on to bring it to completion.
It is good training for how a project starts and how it wraps. It is an understood expectation once you put a few puzzles together, how to lay it out, a process to be efficient, to look at it all, and break it up into workable pieces. Then to do the hard work and start putting it together. Momentum, ex*****on, completion.
We at Mebuis have done countless projects. I personally over 30+ years of business, technology, software development, invention, entrepreneurship, and leadership have had projects of all types, internal, external, board, charity, helping friends, working in my garage at home.
This was a great exercise to stay sharp, stay together, and enjoy work.
Do you have a puzzle for us to solve?
We would love the opportunity to help you tackle a part of your business and bring it to a successful.
