Scammers often impersonate Amazon through emails, texts, and phone calls to try to get you to click a link, share personal information, or make a payment.

Amazon now offers ways to help you verify whether a message is legitimate before you respond.

🔎 If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from Amazon:
• Don’t click any links or call numbers in the message
• Don’t reply or provide personal information
• Verify the message through Amazon’s official website or app
• You can use Alexa for Shopping to ask questions like, “Did Amazon email me?” or “Did Amazon call me?”

When it comes to suspicious messages, stop, verify, and think before you click.
