🩺 Marketplace Open Enrollment Will Look a Little Different This Year!

If I help you with your 2027 Marketplace/Obamacare coverage, you may notice an extra step in the process this year.

CMS is adding new security measures to help protect consumers from unauthorized enrollments and plan changes. Beginning with 2027 enrollment, clients working with an agent may be asked to verify their identity and/or authorize their agent before we can complete certain enrollment activities.

📱 What does that mean for you?

You may receive a text, email, or verification link/code during your appointment. Some of these codes or links may expire quickly, so having access to your phone and email will be important.

Don’t worry - I’ll walk you through it! 💙

It may mean an extra step or two this Open Enrollment, but these changes are designed to help protect you, your coverage, and your personal information.

Just another reason having a local agent by your side can make Open Enrollment a little easier! 😊

She is kind, caring, funny, hardworking, and always willing to go the extra mile for the people around her. She has a huge heart, a quick wit, just the right amount of sass, and a way of making people feel comfortable and cared for.

😂 The many faces of calling an insurance company…

It always starts with confidence:

“Hi! I just have a quick question.” 😊

Then comes the hold music.
Then the transfer.
Then explaining the whole story again.
Then hearing, “Hmm… I’m not seeing that in the system.” 😳

And somewhere around the third transfer, the faces start happening. 🤦‍♀️😂

The good news? These are OUR faces so they don’t have to be yours.

A big part of what Amber and I do happens behind the scenes—making the calls, asking the questions, tracking down answers, following up, and occasionally saying, “Nope, we’re not done yet.”

Insurance can test our patience…but when it comes to helping our clients, we’re stubborn in all the right ways. ❤️
