MidCap Advisors is pleased to welcome Lisa Sonneborn, MA, LMHC as Healthcare Senior Advisor. Lisa has over a decade of experience in pharmaceutical support services which includes owning, operating, growing, and selling businesses in the space.
Lisa is currently a founder, owner, and President of both a Clinical Research Organization (CRO) and phase 1-4 clinical trial site, conducting industry sponsored research for some of the world's most prominent pharmaceutical companies.
Lisa brings unique knowledge of operational models, a clear perspective of the CRO and site industry, and first-hand experience in the drug development and clinical trial M&A landscape to the MidCap team. Lisa’s distinctive perspective on the intricacies of clinical trials and her proven track record in scaling and selling will greatly benefit MidCap’s clients who support biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
Lisa founded Clarity Clinical Research, a dedicated Alzheimer’s and NASH trial facility, and successfully grew it into a high-performing research site that was later acquired by the world’s largest research network. Her deep understanding of clinical trial operations, healthcare M&A, and site-level strategy brings valuable insight to healthcare companies navigating growth and consolidation.
