THROWBACK THURSDAY: From February 1952 to May of 1961 the name of the credit union was College Federal Credit Union. Then University President, James A. McCain requested the name be changed to better reflect the majority ownership. It was changed to Kansas State University Federal Credit Union which has remained the official name ever since.
