Hello World! We are Brown Street Ventures, and we could not be more thrilled to be here with you.
BSV is the culmination of not only a years-long pursuit of lucrative avenues in alternative investing, but also of a passion for bringing these opportunities to friends, family, community, and retail investors. We believe that rather than a clichéd end-goal, should be a checkpoint along your life's journey, and one that can and should be reached via a tailored approach to traditional and alternative investing and wealth management.
It was with this very ideal in mind and heart that BSV was born more than a year-and-a-half ago with our first "Friends & Family" fund, which later led to our "official" launch in January of 2021. Looking back at the short time since, We are incredibly proud of how far we've come:
➡️ Within our Real-Estate arm, we currently have more than $80M in projects under active management and development, including our newest offering, an 81-unit development in the highly sought-after Prospect Park section of Brooklyn, NY
➡️ On the Venture Capital/Pre-IPO front we have
• Deployed capital across more than 30 early-to-late stage private companies
• So far delivered 3x realized returns to investors in our very first fund (which is still active)
• Launched Two additional multi-company funds and Twelve different single-company offerings
• Provided early funding to multiple minority-founded and-owned companies that are looking to not only make a big difference in the world at-large but also in local communities as well
➡️ In 2022 we are looking forward to launching our first set of Private Equity funds as well as our first Crypto-focused offering
And yet, as busy as we've been, this is just the beginning, as there is so much further to go. Just the fact that we are here, however, demands recognition of those without whom none of this would ever have been possible:
1) Our Investors, first and foremost, many of whom invested capital based on family, friend, or past successful business relationships or our personal track records in these types of investments, and further trusted that we would do right by them. That faith will never, ever be forgotten, and is honestly what drives us every single day
2) Our families, who have been our rocks and exactly what we've needed to keep chugging along this process of realizing the vision and potential within BSV.
3) And last but certainly not least, our BSV colleagues, because the difference between an IDEA and an ACHIEVEMENT is EX*****ON, and ex*****on is not possible without the right TEAM. And the BSV team is nothing short of fantastic!
As we now look and move forward, we once again thank and appreciate all those that have come aboard with us. And we invite everyone to stay tuned and learn what BSV is all about as we present opportunities for next-level financial growth.
