💧 Walking for a Great Cause! 💙

What a beautiful morning we had this past Saturday for MECO’s 5th annual Walk for Water, benefiting the Water Mission!

LCI Workers' Comp was proud to participate as a Platinum Sponsor, supporting a wonderful cause that helps bring clean, safe drinking water to communities in need.

We had a great crew come out to enjoy the beautiful weather, share some laughs, and support a meaningful mission. And while we may have finished in last place at co****le (🤣), we certainly made up for it in team spirit!

A big thank you to MECO for putting together another great event and to our LCI crew for showing up and showing out! 💙

On deck for LCI: Jay Jodah, CWCP, Anna Montgomery and Daniel Brockhoeft!

The three are headed to Baton Rouge tomorrow for the PIA of Baton Rouge Sponsorship Spotlight Luncheon.

The event puts sponsors front and center, giving LCI and other participating companies an opportunity to share what makes them different and what they bring to Louisiana's insurance industry. And with LSU Head Baseball Coach Jay Johnson joining the lineup as a special guest, this should be a good one! If you're attending, be sure to say hello to the LCI team. LCI Welcomes Anna & Emily, Growing Our Workers’ Comp Team Here at Home.

For LCI, growing here at home means investing in Louisiana people and working with Louisiana businesses.

Anna Montgomery and Emily Hampton are already out representing LCI, visiting agencies and attending industry events across the state. We’re proud to see them building relationships within Louisiana’s workers’ comp community and look forward to seeing their roles at LCI continue to grow.

To introduce Anna and Emily to the agent community across Louisiana, we created a new ad for publications reaching agents throughout the state. We worked with David Caruso of New Orleans-based Agent C Advertising to develop and design the ad, with photography by Eugene Uhl. You’ll see it in Inside Northside, BayouLife, and Surplus Line Reporter. We’re fortunate to have talented people right here in Louisiana helping us tell the LCI story.

LCI Claims Manager Yvonne Rosen recently joined Vinnie Carbo of Levius Medical Solutions for a luncheon yesterday at Crazy Johnnie's featuring FOX 8 Meteorologist Zack Fradella.

With hurricane season in full swing, the discussion focused on current forecasts, weather trends across Southeast Louisiana, and the importance of staying prepared for whatever the season may bring.

A timely conversation, great company, and plenty of helpful takeaways as we make our way through hurricane season!

🍔 **Happy National Cheeseburger Day!** 🍔

We’re celebrating this American classic with a little LCI Member Spotlight on Mike’s Poboys & Platters in Hammond, LA

Mike’s may be known for their seafood, poboys and Louisiana favorites, but today we’re letting the **classic cheeseburger** have its moment. After all, it does have its own national day!

DID YOU KNOW?? The cheeseburger has been satisfying hungry appetites for nearly 100 years. One of the earliest documented versions appeared on a Los Angeles menu in 1928 for just **25 cents** — quite a difference from today! And while there are a few stories about exactly who first had the brilliant idea to add cheese to a hamburger, we can probably all agree they were onto something. 🧀🍔

So today, we’re tipping our hats to a simple classic and one of our local LCI members who serves it up alongside the seafood favorites they’re known for.

It’s been a busy week at LCI—and we wouldn’t have it any other way! 🤝

Our team has been out and about connecting with some of the great agencies we have the opportunity to work with across Louisiana.

In Ruston, Administrator Mark Tullis and Agency Relations Manager Keith Summers enjoyed lunch with the Forth Insurance team at Lightnin’ on the Park—a great opportunity to catch up, strengthen relationships, and spend time together outside of the office.

From North Louisiana to the Northshore, we’re always grateful for the opportunity to connect face-to-face with the people and agencies we work alongside. It’s been a full week of good conversations, great food, and even better company!

LCI’s Jay Jodah and Anna Montgomery had a great evening hosting some of our agents in Tiger Stadium, enjoying good company and a great night of LSU football!

It’s always a pleasure to spend time with the people we work alongside and enjoy a little Tiger football while we’re at it. Thank you to our agents who joined us and helped make it such a fun night. We truly value the relationships we’ve built and always enjoy the opportunity to connect outside of the office.

Mark Tullis and Keith Summers are headed to Monroe tomorrow to represent LCI at the PIA of Louisiana Northeast Chapter Meeting.

With a legislative update from Chief Deputy Commissioner Barrow Peacock on the agenda, there should be plenty to talk about. Mark and Keith are looking forward to the discussion and staying close to what’s happening in Louisiana insurance.
